The Spanish Internet Users Association (AUI) is a non-profit Internet users organisation; it was created in Madrid, with nationwide scope the 5th of July of 1995. The main objectives of the association are:

• To promote, in a non-profit making way, the development of the Internet, the Information Society and New Technologies as well as the necessary equipment, applications, services and infrastructures.
• To protect and defend the rights and interests of Internet Users.
• To encourage fair use of the Internet, new Technologies and their applications for personal as well as professional use.
