Data Platforms online workshops

May 8, 2020

In light of the evolution of the current pandemic and the uncertainty about when f2f activities will be re-started, the Big Data Value Association BDVA organized a series of online workshops to replace the workshop planned for March.

In particular, we underline the webinar about “Big Data PPP Personal Data Platforms: Empowering Citizens Leveraging their Data Power” organised by the BDVA, the BDVe project and the EC as a first event in a list of events and workshops related to the EU big data platform projects that are funded under the umbrella of the European Big Data Value PPP. The aim of this webinar is to start identifying synergies and to learn how different projects will address key data collection, sharing, integration, and exploitation challenges.

This webinar is dedicated to the cluster of data platform projects that address industrial data. The projects that will present their ambitions and first insights are DataPorts, I3-Market, OpertusMundi, and TheFSM.

PIMCity project will be presented with others projects and it will be followed by a moderated Q&A session involving the webinar participants.

Among the speakers, the Coordinator Marco Mellia, Full Professor of Politecnico di Torino, will introduce and present the PIMCity Project
